Sherman and I had like many of you had a special relationship over the years.

One of our deals together was that Sherm was going to teach me to play tennis while I taught him how to drive a car. We had a lot of tennis sessions around Greenlake until I finally won a match against him[total luck] and he terrorized the north lot at the zoo backing up and going around corners etc.

We did enjoy playing doubles tennis with Loui for years but Sherman just never did decide to go the car route.

I don’t think we ever won a scrabble against him but we did have a wonderful weber BBque Turkey dinner one Thanksgiving.

All the boys were always enthralled by Sherm’s computer skills and knowledge. He had that Apple and we had the commodore 64 along with so many other things.  – Jay Bond
