Ida rather not or so she thought
When the date came and went.

Unrushed, Ida dreamed of an ocean of love
And from her mother’s heart

She heard the steady pull
Of moon and tide

Turned upside down
And right side up

Ida arrived
Unperturbed by all the excitement

Blanketed by a sudden joy

The world is radiant
And alive!
