I knew Sherman before he joined the military.  He wrote several plays and I acted in them.  He was a dear friend in very hard times in America and for young people.  When I knew him, he lived in Seattle.

The Swings – A one act, about an actor playing a young woman in a wheelchair.

There were others whose titles I cannot remember.  Some were performed at the University of Washington campus, one at The Edge, a coffeehouse in the U District.  I was curious about what happened to Sherman and did an online search.  Sadly, he has died.  My name at the time was Anne Dawson.  I was so surprised that his play writing was not mentioned.
